Adult Classes
FirstSteps School of Dance offer adult dance classes in our studio in Alexandra Palace, North London. Our range of Adult Classes include ballet classes suitable for all ages and abilities, from beginners to those more experienced dancers.
Our teachers are qualified Royal Academy of Dance teachers and possess specialised skills in guiding adults safely according to age and ability. Whether you’re rediscovering your passion for dance or, stepping into ballet for the first time, we have the perfect class to meet your needs.
Adult Ballet Beginners
These classes are for those with little or no experience of ballet. For adults that want an alternative to the gym, this class is age aware and not only encourages, coordination and good posture, but nurtures a huge sense of wellbeing.
Current timetable
Adult Ballet General
This class is for adult dancers with previous ballet experience. It builds on the vocabulary and pace of the beginners’ class and has opportunities for the more advanced dancers to shine.
As with the beginners’ class, it includes work on coordination, control, and posture.
Our adult classes promote joy and a sense of achievement.
